1975
Fundición Duro Felguera begins casting manganese steel crossings.
1989
Creation of Felguera Melt and start of manufacturing railway turnouts.
2003
Felguera Melt acquires the land of Metalsa in Mieres and creates its subsidiary Felguera Rail S.A.
2004
Starting trimetallic flash butt weldings.
March 2014
Change of company name from Felguera Rail to Duro Felguera Rail S.A.U.
April 2014
DF Rail passes successfully the factory acceptance tests of the first AV4 High Speed Turnout for 350 kms/h.
July 2014
Felguera Melt division and integration of all personnel and activities at DF Rail.

Start-up of the new foundry for manganese steel crossings after an investment of €14M.
